Steven Ross is an editor and director based in Brooklyn, New York. He has worked on documentaries and commercials for prominent platforms such as Netflix, MAX and The New York Times. In 2020, he edited the New York Times Op-Docs short documentary Hysterical Girl, which was accepted into SXSW and shortlisted for the Oscars in 2021.

In March 2020, Ross began editing all six episodes of The Andy Warhol Diaries documentary series for Netflix. The series was released in March of 2022 and nominated for Best Documentary Series at the 74th Emmy Awards. Ross was also nominated for Best Edited Documentary (Non-Theatrical) at the 2023 ACE Awards for his work on the series. Most recently, he was an editor on Mr. McMahon, which was released on Netflix in September of 2024.

During breaks in his editing schedule, Ross produces and directs his own personal projects.
